geek conversations about love (part 3 in a series)

"She looked great on paper, but I couldn't stand her in person."

"Why was that?"

"You know, I try to be positive. I try to look for the best parts of people. But sometimes, those lookups fail."

The Engineer's Choice
(from Maui Tim)

Two engineering students were walking across campus when one said,
"Where did you get such a great bike?"

The second engineer replied,
"Well, I was walking along yesterday minding my own business
when a beautiful woman rode up on this bike.
She threw the bike to the ground, took off all her clothes
and said, 'Take what you want.'"

The second engineer nodded approvingly,
"Good choice; the clothes probably wouldn't have fit."

A psychoanalytic DNS failure certainly beats "This persona parked free courtesy of GoDaddy.com" Laugh if you want to, but with some people I wonder: who is it really hiding in there?

Does the evidently brilliant Niniane ever play down her smarts (aka "Play dumb") when she flirts?

re: geek nerd engineer. Great joke! For some reason, as I was reading it, I pictured it happening on the Stanford campus.

re: eric. That would attract the wrong people. :)
