Me: "Where should we go to dinner?"
Aff: "You should pick because it's your birthday."
Mom: "Oh, that's right! Happy birthday!"
Me: "Wow. My own mom forgot my birthday."
Mom: "I wished you happy birthday yesterday."
Me: "But you forgot today, on the actual day."
Mom: "You were born in China. Your birthday was yesterday in China."
