food is always a good analogy

"When's your first date?"

"She's really busy this week, and then I'm going home for Christmas, so it might not be until January."

"That's a long time from now."

"I know, but I already waited this long."

"Wei-chao had a good analogy for this. Think about when you're hungry. If you wait three hours, you don't feel hungry any more."

"[laughing]"

"Or you go find a snack."

(I know, not really related. But I've been itching to quote 30 Rock for some time now.)

Well, I suppose if you're not married yet you're still in the "test-drive" phase! (see previous post)

  3. Women are not snacks (see previous post)

  4. "Mmmmm, DO-NUTS...." - Homer, "The Simpsons"

(Totally related - not that anyone here would be a tasty donut :)

  5. But women are snacks! See Sarah Lee, Little Debbie, Ms. Freshley, Betty Crocker, Aunt Jemima, et al. Given a five-gallon bucket of insulin, I bet I could get to 3rd gear with every last one of them! Why do we eat those we love?

It must be me, but when I am hungry, I stay hungry. If I have a lot of sushi, I can be full, but still hungry after an hour.

I wouldn't suggest "snacking" if you're in a committed relationship, whether or not you've "test driven" your relationship or not.

  9. Hey Nin!
I'm on blogger now! Yay. I'm actually going to use it, too. How the heck do I save you on, like, a "blog roll"? You see how you have that "Author's Favorites" column? How do I get that so I can easily put all my fave links in one place?
